   Commodity prices are closely related to cost, and cost determines the price. Some manufacturers are large-scale and strong enough to produce castings and common parts and equipment by themselves at relatively low costs and relatively cheap prices. Some manufacturers are small in scale, unable to produce the whole machine independently, and need to purchase important parts for assembly, the equipment production cost is high, and the requirements are relatively high.

 

  The core component that determines the price of a machining center

 

  1. Spindle unit

 

   The price of the key components of the spindle unit is generally based on two points, one is the equipment speed, and the other is the cooling method. The common machining center speed on the market is usually 8000 rpm, which can be increased or decreased according to actual processing requirements. The spindle speed is different, the price is different. Cooling equipment is also one of the indispensable parts of the spindle. The equipment will generate a lot of heat under high-speed processing. The heat of high chips attached to the machine tool table and the surface of the workpiece will not only affect the machining accuracy of the workpiece, but also affect the equipment. The cooling system is indispensable to cause damage, and it is usually divided into two types: water cooling and oil cooling.

 

   Take the currently widely used model vmc850 in China as an example, the price of the spindle unit accounts for about 3%-10% of the overall price.

 

   2. Numerical control system

 

   CNC system can be said to be a core component with a large price gap. Imported CNC systems are more expensive, while domestic CNC systems are cheaper. Imported systems from Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens are more common in the current market. One thing to note is that imported systems are usually bundled with three-axis servo motors, that is to say, if the system chooses FANUC, you must purchase FANUC servo drives and motors, which will undoubtedly increase the purchase burden and capital. budget. In addition, the domestic CNC system can be selected in occasions where the processing requirements are not high and the capital budget is limited.

 

   Take the VMC850, which is currently widely used in China, as an example, the price of the CNC system accounts for about 15%-25% of the overall price.

 

  3. Tool magazine

 

   Once we have written the CNC program and debugged the spindle speed, then we are about to start processing. The working part of the machining center should also make its debut, and that is the tool magazine. The tool magazine is a container for the machining center to store tools, and the tool is the part that directly performs drilling, milling, and cutting operations on the workpiece. Common tool magazines are classified into disc-type tool magazines and hat-type tool magazines. The price difference of the tool magazine is reflected in the number of tools and the speed of tool change. The disc-type tool magazine is equipped with a manipulator, which can complete the tool change operation in about three seconds. At present, Taiwan's tool magazine technology belongs to the world's advanced ranks. Brands such as Xindai and Baoyuan are widely used in domestic machining center brands and occupy a large market share.

  4. Bearing and screw

 

  The bearing is mainly used to support the mechanical selection body, reduce the friction coefficient during the movement, and ensure the rotation. In machining center equipment, bearings are mainly used on the lead screw to drive the lead screw to rotate. In addition to the rigidity, impact and wear resistance of the screw, the bearing is the main factor affecting the price of the screw. At present, the high-end brands in the high-end bearing market are Swiss and Japanese brands. Japan's NSK bearing performance is suitable for use in machining center screw, but the price is higher. If only middle and low-end machining center equipment is needed in daily production, domestic bearings can be used.

   5. Hard track and linear track

 

  Hard rail refers to a casting in which the guide rail and the bed are integrated, and then the guide rail is processed on the basis of the casting. Linear guides usually refer to rolling guides, which are the kind used in linear modules that are often used in the machine tool industry now, and are usually called linear guides. The track is fast and accurate. The hard rail has good rigidity, heavy load, and strong heavy cutting ability. There is no difference between the advantages and disadvantages of the two, and the choice should be based on the specific processing requirements.
