1. Spindle unit


The price of the spindle unit, a key component of the entire equipment, generally depends on two points, one is the equipment speed, and the other is the cooling method. The speed of common machining centers on the market is usually 8,000 rpm, which can be increased or decreased according to actual processing needs. Different spindle speeds have different prices. Cooling equipment is also an essential part of the spindle. When the equipment is processed at high speed, it will generate a large amount of heat. The heat of high chips attached to the machine tool table and workpiece surface will not only affect the processing accuracy of the workpiece, but also cause damage to the equipment. To cause damage, a cooling system is essential, usually divided into two types: water cooling and oil cooling.


Taking the currently widely used model vmc850 in China as an example, the price of the spindle unit accounts for about 3%-10% of the overall price.


2. CNC system


The CNC system can be said to be the core component with a large price gap. Imported CNC systems are more expensive, while domestic CNC systems are cheaper. Currently, imported systems from FANUC, Mitsubishi, and Siemens are more common in the market. One thing to note is that imported systems are usually bundled with three-axis servo motors, which means that if the system is purchased from FANUC, you must purchase FANUC servo drives and motors, which undoubtedly increases the purchase burden and funds. Budget. In addition, domestic CNC systems can be chosen in situations where processing requirements are not high and capital budgets are limited.


Taking the currently widely used model VMC850 in China as an example, the price of the CNC system accounts for about 15%-25% of the overall price.


3. Tool magazine


After we have written the CNC program and adjusted the spindle speed, we will start the machining operation. The working component of the machining center should also make its debut, that is, the tool magazine. The tool magazine is a container for storing tools in a machining center, and the tools are the parts that directly perform drilling, milling, and cutting operations on the workpiece. Common tool magazines are classified into disc-type tool magazines and hat-type tool magazines. The price difference of the tool magazine is reflected in the number of tools and tool changing speed. The disc type tool magazine is equipped with a robot, which can complete the tool changing operation in about three seconds. It is also called a robot tool magazine, and the price is higher than the hat type tool magazine. At present, Taiwan's tool magazine technology ranks among the world's advanced ones. Brands such as Xindai and Baoyuan are widely used in domestic machining center brands and occupy a large market share.

4. Bearings and screws


Bearings are mainly used to support the mechanical selection body, reduce the friction coefficient during movement, and ensure rotation. In machining center equipment, bearings are mainly used on the screw to drive the screw to rotate. In addition to the rigidity, impact resistance and wear resistance of the screw, the bearing is the main factor affecting the price of the screw. At present, Swiss and Japanese brands are relatively high-end in the high-end bearing market. The performance of Japanese NSK bearings is suitable for use in machining center screws, but the price is higher. If you only need mid-to-low-end machining center equipment in daily production, you can choose to use domestic bearings.

5. Hard rail and linear rail


The hard rail refers to the casting where the guide rail and the machine bed are integrated, and then the guide rail is processed on the basis of the casting. Linear rails usually refer to rolling guides, which are the kind used in linear modules that are often used in the machine tool industry. They are also usually called linear guides. The rail speed is fast and the accuracy is good. The hard rail has good rigidity, heavy load capacity and relatively strong heavy cutting ability. There is no distinction between the two, and the choice should be based on specific processing needs.
