What preparations are needed for the operation of CNC lathes?

The plane where the two guide rails of the CNC lathe are located intersects with the ground plane, forming an inclined plane with angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, and 75°. The bed of the lathe is a right triangle. Obviously, under the condition of the same guide rail width, the X-direction slide of the inclined bed is longer than that of the flat bed. The practical significance of its application in the lathe is that more tool positions can be arranged. The cross-sectional area of the lathe is larger than that of the flat bed of the same specification, that is, it has stronger anti-bending and anti-torsion capabilities.


When designing the lathe, the spindle box took corresponding measures to reduce the thermal deformation of the spindle, so that the spindle can maintain the relative stability of the spindle axis when the spindle works for a long time. The lathe adopts full guide rail protection, and the cooling box and chip conveyor are separated from the main machine to ensure that the machine tool accuracy is not affected by thermal cutting.


Preparation before the lathe test run:


After the lathe geometric accuracy inspection is passed, the whole machine needs to be cleaned. Use cotton cloth or silk cloth soaked in cleaning agent, and cotton yarn or gauze shall not be used. Clean off the anti-rust oil or anti-rust paint applied to the lathe to protect the guide surface and processing surface when it leaves the factory. Clean the dust on the outer surface of the machine tool. Apply the lubricating oil specified for the machine tool to each sliding surface and working surface.


Carefully check whether the various parts of the CNC lathe are oiled as required and whether the cooling box is filled with enough coolant. Whether the oil in the hydraulic station and automatic lubrication device of the machine tool has reached the position specified by the oil level indicator.


Check whether the switches and components in the electrical control box are normal and whether the plug-in integrated circuit boards are in place. Power on the centralized lubrication device to fill the lubricating oil in each lubrication part and lubrication oil circuit. Make all preparations before the operation of each part of the machine tool.
