Precautions for machining centers in machining mold operations

Machining centers should pay attention to the operation of processing molds:

1. When operating the planer, do not extend your head and hands to the front of the car for inspection, and do not use cotton yarn to wipe the workpiece and the rotating parts of the machine tool.

2. Before operating the punch, check whether the mold is cracked, whether the operating mechanism, automatic stop device, clutch and brake are normal, and whether the lubrication system is blocked or lacks oil.

3. It is strictly forbidden to put objects such as hands and tools into the dangerous area. Small pieces must be operated with special tools. When the mold is stuck on the blank, only tools can be used to release it.

4. When punching a workpiece, hands or feet must leave the button or pedal to prevent misoperation. When operating with more than two people, you should appoint someone to drive and pay attention to coordination.

5. When operating the drilling machine, gloves are not allowed, girls should wear safety helmets, and protective covers should be complete.

6. When drilling through holes, pads must be placed on the bottom surface of the workpiece, and manual feeding is changed when the drilling is approaching.

7. When operating the lathe, the workpiece must be clamped firmly, and the chuck can be moved by hand to check that there is no collision before driving.

8. When the spindle is running, it is not allowed to change speed. When the tool does not leave the workpiece, it cannot suddenly change direction and use reverse braking.

9. When operating the milling machine, it is necessary to stop when working on the upper and lower workpieces, tools, firmness, adjustment, speed change and measurement of workpieces.

10. During cutting, the head and hand should not be close to the milling surface. When unloading the workpiece, the tool must be removed.

11. When operating the grinding machine, people should not stand on the front of the grinding wheel, but should stand on the side of the grinding wheel.

12. When loading and unloading workpieces, the grinding wheel should be withdrawn to a safe position to prevent hand grinding.

Precautions for mold processing in machining center:

1. The process preparation is concise, the expression is detailed, and the processing content is expressed numerically as much as possible;

2. For the key and difficult points of processing, the process should be particularly emphasized;

3. Combination processing is required, and the process is clearly expressed;

4. When inserts need to be processed separately, pay attention to the process requirements of processing accuracy;

5. After combined processing, for the insert parts that need to be processed separately, the benchmark requirements for process installation and separate processing during combined processing;

6. Springs are the most easily damaged in mold processing, so choose mold springs with long fatigue life.
