Precautions for installation of turret milling machine

The installation of the turret milling machine must first determine the installation conditions, and then select the location and necessary electrical requirements:

1. Installation environment

The machine tool should be placed on a flat and solid ground; it should be avoided as far as possible to avoid placing the machine tool in an environment of dust, humidity, corrosive gas, corrosive liquid, high-intensity radiation, and high-intensity vibration; enough processing operations should be reserved around the machine tool space.

2. Placement and fixation of machine tools

(1) The machine tool should be placed on a flat ground, and the slope at both ends should be less than 10°; the machine tool should be placed on a solid ground, and the ground bearing should be greater than 150% of the total weight of the machine tool.

(2) There are two common fixing methods for machine tools:

Concrete pouring and fixing: the anchor bolts are placed in the concrete according to the size of the foundation drawing. After the concrete is completely solidified, the machine tool is in place;

Fixing with adjusting pads: First, place the machine tool on a flat ground, install the adjusting screws on the screw holes of the machine base, then place the adjusting pads on the ground below the adjusting screws, and adjust the screws one by one.

(3) Before the machine tool is fixed, the level of the machine tool table should be adjusted. The method is to place the spirit level on a clean machine table, and adjust the adjustment pads at the bottom of the machine, so that the horizontal and vertical errors of the table are within 0.04/1000mm.

3. Electrical requirements and installation

(1) The turret milling machine adopts the three-phase 380V actual voltage measurement value within 380±5%. If the voltage fluctuates frequently, it should be equipped with a voltage stabilizer; the selection of cable specifications should reserve 10% on the basis of the total power of the machine tool. The cable should be in the form of three-phase four-wire, with neutral line and complete grounding conditions; the line should be equipped with leakage protection device, and the cable specification should be appropriately increased according to the connection distance.

(2) The installation of cable lines should be carried out by personnel with professional electrician knowledge. The cable terminal should be installed with the corresponding specifications of the cold shrinkable cable terminal connector (copper wire lug), and the cable terminal should be installed in the machine tool distribution box, and four terminals should be reserved.
