The function of the CNC lathe guide rail is to guide and support, that is, to support the moving parts, so as to ensure that the moving parts can move accurately along the predetermined direction under the action of external forces. 1. High positioning accuracy
The guidance accuracy refers to the position accuracy between the machine tool chest piece and the relevant base plane when it moves along the guide rail. When moving parts move at low speed or have small displacement on the linear guide rail, the movement shall be stable without creeping. This requirement is particularly important for CNC machine tools. It requires small friction coefficient of linear guide, small difference between dynamic and static friction coefficients, and good friction damping.
