The CNC tool holder is the most common auxiliary device for CNC lathe machine. It can make the CNC lathe complete a variety of or even all the machining processes in the workpiece one-time clamping, in order to shorten the auxiliary time of the machining and reduce the number of workpieces installed during the machining process. The resulting error, thereby improving the machining efficiency and machining accuracy of the machine tool. This article shared with you the fault diagnosis and repair of the tool holder.
First, the knife holder can not start
1. Mechanical reasons
The tool holder preload is too large. When the end of the worm is rotated by the wrench, it is not easy to rotate, but it can be rotated when the force is applied, but the tool post cannot be started after the next clamping. This phenomenon occurs, and it can be determined that the reason why the tool holder cannot be started is that the pre-tightening force is too large, and the clamping current can be eliminated by adjusting the motor of the small tool holder.
The internal mechanical mechanism is stuck. When the worm is rotated from the end of the worm, the clockwise direction does not move, which is caused by mechanical jamming.
Firstly, check whether the clamping device is against the positioning pin against the ratchet groove. If it is, the ratchet wheel and the screw coupling pin hole should be rotated at an angle to re-punch the joint;
Secondly, check if the spindle nut is locked. If the nut is locked, it should be readjusted.
Again, due to poor lubrication, the rotating parts are ground and killed. At this time, it should be disassembled, observe the actual situation, and be lubricated.
2, electrical reasons
The power is not available and the motor does not turn. Check if the fuse is intact, the power switch is connected well, and the switch position is correct. When measuring voltage with a multimeter, the voltage value is within the specified range. It can be eliminated by replacing the fuse, adjusting the switch position, and making the contact part in good contact. In addition, the reason for the power failure is that the cable breakage between the tool post and the CNC vertical lathe controller, the internal break of the tool post, and the change of the position of the brush-type Hall element can not be normally turned on and off.
The forward and reverse input terminals of the inverter are disconnected. The dynamic tool change is normal and the machine control does not change the tool. It should focus on checking the signal of the machine and the tool holder controller, the computer I/O interface and the tool holder in place.
In the ladder diagram, the forward rotation output signal Y0.0 and the reverse output signal Y0.1 output a low level when a signal is input, resulting in no corresponding transmission of the relay.
Second, the knife number of a tool holder can not be rotated, and the other tool positions can be rotated.
CNC Lathe Machine
1. The Hall element of this location is damaged.
Confirm which tool position makes the tool holder turn non-stop. Enter the command to rotate the tool position on the system, and use the multimeter to measure whether the 24V contact has voltage change. If there is no change, it can be determined that the tool position of the tool is damaged, and the transmitter or Hall element can be replaced.
2. The tool bit signal line is broken, causing the system to fail to detect the tool position signal.
Check if there is an open circuit between the tool position signal and the system connection, and connect it properly.
3. There is a problem with the tool position signal receiving circuit of the system.
The main board is replaced if it is determined that the tool position of the tool position is no problem and the connection between the tool position signal and the system is correct.
