b. Spindle head lifting CNC milling machine. The table of this type of CNC milling machine moves longitudinally and laterally, and the spindle moves up and down along the vertical slide. The spindle head lifting type CNC milling machine has many benefits in terms of accuracy adherence, bearing weight, system configuration, etc., and has become the main stream of CNC milling machines.
c. CNC gantry milling machine. The spindle of this type of CNC milling machine can move on the horizontal and vertical slides of the gantry, and the gantry moves longitudinally along the bed. CNC milling machines with a worktable width of more than 630mm mostly use the gantry plan, whose function is close to the processing base and is used for the processing of large workpieces and large planes.

a. Horizontal CNC milling machine is the same as general horizontal milling machine, its main axis is parallel to the horizontal plane. In order to expand the processing scale and expand the function, horizontal CNC milling machines usually choose to add a CNC reversal disc or an all-round CNC reversal disc to complete the four or five coordinate processing. In this way, not only can the successive inversions on the side of the workpiece be processed, but also can be completed in a single device by changing the station through the turntable to perform "four-sided processing."
B. CNC vertical milling machine has always occupied the majority of the number of CNC milling machines in number, and the most widely used scale. The spindle of the vertical CNC milling machine is perpendicular to the horizontal plane. Small vertical CNC milling machines usually use the method of moving and lifting the table without moving the spindle, which is similar to the structure of the vertical milling machine; the medium-sized CNC milling machine usually uses the vertical and horizontal table movement method, and the spindle moves along the vertical slide ; Large CNC milling machine usually considers the gantry movement method because of the consideration of extending travel, reducing floor space and rigidity. The main shaft can move on the longitudinal and vertical slide of the gantry, while the gantry is along the bed. As a longitudinal movement, this type of structure is also known as a gantry CNC milling machine. Judging from the number of coordinates controlled by the machine tool CNC system, three-axis CNC end milling still accounts for the majority, usually three-coordinate linkage machining, but there are also some machine tools that can only perform arbitrary two-coordinate linkage machining among three coordinates Often called two-axis half machining). In addition, there are four-axis and five-axis CNC vertical milling machines with machine tool spindles that can move around one or two of the X, Y, and Z coordinate axes.
c. Vertical and horizontal CNC milling machine. Now such CNC milling machines are rare. Because the spindle direction of this type of milling machine can be replaced, it can reach the function of being able to perform both vertical and horizontal processing on a machine tool. , Bring a lot of convenience to the user, especially suitable for the production of small batches and more types of processing.
